JUNIOR BALLET

Once children are in Year 2, they meet the minimum age requirement to start taking their Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) examinations.

From here, children will naturally progress through the RAD graded syllabi from Primary to Grade 2. If your child is slightly older and keen to try ballet however, we will place them in a class that best suits their age and ability.

Ballet is an artistic, classical and highly technical dance form, and our classes are perfect for those wanting to explore ballet more thoroughly!

Junior Ballet

For children in Years 6-9.

Mid Ballet

MID BALLET

Most of our children naturally progress through the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) graded syllabi after successfully completing the prior grade. However if your child is slightly older and keen to try ballet, we will place them in a class that best suits their age and ability.

Once children go into Year 8, they have the opportunity to start studying the RAD's vocational syllabi where they will also be examined en pointe. The first vocational syllabus is called Intermediate Foundation, and it is advised that they take this ballet class alongside their graded ballet class. Both examinations compliment and support each other, and provide students with more advanced and technical ballet training.

Once children have started studying the RAD's vocational syllabi, they can then progress to Intermediate and Advanced Foundation levels after successfully completing the prior grade.
