Centre Stage Dance and Drama Ltd is a thriving and well-respected performing arts school based in Oxshott, Cobham and Leatherhead, Surrey.

We provide excellent and inspired teaching in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Contemporary, Urban, Acro and Musical Theatre, and for students of all ages from 2.5 years old to young adults.

If you're looking for examinations, theatre performances, competitions / festivals or classes simply for fun, we are proud to be able to offer performing arts classes for all.

So for the first time ever due to a health hiccup, I was truly gutted to have not been able to attend our Vocational Exam Session at the @royalacademyofdance 😔 Having said that however, I am SO proud of every single one of my dancers who “slayed” their exams (😜) and made me so happy with their focus, work ethic and determination ☺️🫶🙌

Not only are my students the absolute best, but I also could not have done it without the support and love from Miss. Beth and Miss. Lexie. They came to the rescue despite my extremely last minute ask, and they went above and beyond taking over from me by getting everyone exam ready, warmed up, practiced and rehearsed! Their encouragement was more than I could have asked for, and even how they celebrated the student’s wins after their exams literally gave me a much needed boost that I needed 💜💜💜

Thank you so so much @bethxweller, @lexieboyd_ and every single student and parent for everything you did for me that day - it was one of those times that reminded me how fulfilling and happy my job makes me, and how great the kids and my team truly are 🫶 x

Huge congratulations to our Jacob, Rose and Erin who danced brilliantly in @surreyyouthballet Nutcracker in December🎄🌰🐀❄️

I am very much looking forward to seeing them perform again this year! 🙌

I know it seems like another exam post, but this is genuinely how many exam sessions we had to run to accommodate everyone! ✨ This was also whilst we had begun show rehearsals too, so all of our students were working crazy hard 👏

Our first ever @acrobaticarts exams was a huge success, and we are so grateful to have had such a lovely examiner, Miss. Cheryl, who made our students feel at ease and helped them to achieve their best 🥰 Everyone (including us teachers!) had the most enjoyable experience 🤩👏

Examinations are purely optional at Centre Stage, but they’re a great way to focus, motivate and reward dancers 🤩 It’s also my favourite excuse to show everyone how awesome our students are, who make me so proud watching them grow, progress and achieve with every grade ☺️♥️

When two of your “dinosaurs” (😉) get too old and finally have to leave you to go to university 🥹 It is always SO bittersweet when this happens, but we will forever support and love our girls in everything they do beyond Centre Stage 💜

Our little hall is finally being renovated and will no longer be the same building we’ve danced in since 1995! 🫶

To commemorate the Guide Hut, myself and Carla tried to replicate a contemporary exercise I taught her there 8 years ago, including all mannerisms and the absolute fail at the end 🙃 We should have tried to see if you were around @zoehickson! 😃
